28th Judicial Circuit, Baldwin Alabama

Carla White is the Juror Manager and can be reached at (251) 580-1855 or carla.white@alacourt.gov.

On behalf of Honorable James H. Reid, presiding Circuit Judge, Honorable Charles C. Partin, Honorable J. Langford Floyd, Honorable Robert E. Wilters and Honorable Carmen E. Bosch, Circuit Judges and Jody Wise Campbell, Circuit Clerk, we welcome everyone that has been chosen for jury service.  It is one of the highest duties of citizenship.

All those that have been summoned for jury service should report on the day required, to the large courtroom, at the Bay Minette courthouse.  You should arrive in time to be checked in and turn in your jury summons with the information on it completed.  The courthouse is normally open at 7:30am to begin the check in process.  Please excuse the construction as we try to improve our facilities for your convenience and comfort.

The Circuit Clerk will go over what you can expect to experience during your time of jury service.  Jury service is scheduled to be for a two week period.

Every person that serves will be issued a check for each day of service and be given a certificate of service for your employer.  These are issued at the end of the term, unless there is a special circumstance that warrants earlier issuance.

The court schedules seventeen weeks of jury trials each year.

The judges and their staff, along with the circuit clerk and her staff, will do all that is possible to make your jury service as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.

We now have some general jury information available online about parking, juror pay, work related questions, and more.
